Production Workshop of Zirconia Screws
With over 14 years’ experience, Newthink operates an advanced ceramic factory with accurate processing equipment and large-scale inspection systems. Each process phase follows accurate dimensional standards to ensure accuracy and stability. Our factory is clean and regulated, allowing consistent quality in batches and stable performance in zirconia screws for semiconductor equipment, aerospace components and other high-value applications.
Lightweight Zirconia Screws with Great Insulating Performance
With a density of 6.0 g/cm3, zirconia screws are almost half the weight of steel screws at nearly 50% less system weight and load. They have a higher electrical resistivity of more than 1013 Ω·cm, providing improved insulation and removing electromagnetic interference in electronic and semiconductor components. With 0% water absorbance, not to mention zero metal ion release, they preclude the risk of contamination, perfect for semiconductor production which calls for purity and reliability.
High-Strength and Durable Zirconia Screws
Zirconia screws are constructed with superior mechanical properties of compressive strength of 1400 MPa and flexural strength of 3000 MPa. It provides fastening that is resistant to deformation or wear even under overloading mechanical stress. The Vickers hardness of 1350 HV provides excellent abrasion resistance, and they are appropriate for rough applications where regular metal screws would fracture because of tension or persistent wear.

Zirconia ceramic screws are applied where ordinary metal fasteners cannot be used in extreme applications. In the electronic and semiconductor industry, zirconia screws provide elimination of contamination, electrical insulation and resistance to plasma or vacuum in wafer processing and CVD chambers. They have corrosion resistance and long-term thermal stability, which is critical in chemical plants and precision equipment. Zirconia ceramic screws provide superior performance for the high-technology sector.
Yes. Zirconia screws are resistant to high temperature and are capable of withstanding short-term 1600℃ and long-term 1200℃ without loss of tensile strength. They have resistance against quick thermal shock to 400℃, best application in semiconductor furnaces, chemical reactors and aerospace parts where metals soften or fail.
Because of a maximum up to 1200 MPa flexural and a maximum up to 2500 MPa compressive strength, the zirconia screws are stronger. They retain 70-80% of strength at 1000℃, making them trustworthy under loaded and high-temperature conditions.
Zirconia screws are less flexible than metal ones. They should be fitted accurately in a manner that they are not deformed due to shock. Not as ductile as metal screws, increased hardness and fatigue resistance render them particularly suitable for application in chemicals, aerospace and semiconductors.
Zirconia screws are 25-30% lighter than stainless steel screws because of their low density. They are best used where lightness is most important, for instance, in precision engineering and the aerospace industry.
